THE POSITION
The Senior Account Manager builds partnerships, provides leadership and business insight, and delivers on strategic initiatives to some of the market’s largest brand and direct response focused agencies. With understanding of both online and traditional media, he is responsible partnering with the sales team to develop industry-specific marketing relationships and driving revenue by negotiating and optimizing complex opportunities. The Account Manager will establish, own and manage an expanding portfolio of clients & revenue focusing on driving revenue, client education and satisfaction. Success in this position requires strong consultative sales and analytical skills, a focus on client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines.
QUALIFICATION
5 to 8 years of Account Management experience, BA or BS degree or equivalent experience. Excellent communication skills in German and English. Experience working directly with traditional (above-the-line, below-the-line, or both) and new media agencies and/or advertisers (media planning/buying experience preferable). Knowledge of Media Sales and social media a plus. Understand user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms.
